HIGH WOODS FARM HOLIDAY COTTAGES - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BOOKING
For prices and availability telephone 01347 868 188 or 0778 715 6430 but not after 9 pm please - or email hughgreasley@tiscali.co.uk. Normally bookings are for 1 week Saturday to Saturday, but 3 or 4 day breaks can often be made.
A deposit is required to confirm your booking with the remainder to be paid ONE MONTH before your holiday commences where possible. Please make cheques payable to H.W. Greasley and send to High Woods Farm, Wass, York, YO61 4AY.
All bed linen, duvets and towels are provided, and all reasonable utility charges are included in the rental.
You are requested to leave the cottage by 10 am. on the day of departure, and not to arrive before 4 pm. on the arrival day
In the case of you cancelling your holiday we will return your rental payment in full, less your deposit. If we are able to re-let the cottage for the time you have just cancelled then we will return your deposit, less an administration charge of £10.
Please note we reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time, by myself or my representative, due to any unforeseen circumstances. If this does occur then any monies already paid to us will be fully refunded.
PETS
Pets are allowed by prior arrangement. We ask you to keep pets under strict control and not to leave them unattended. They should not be allowed on the furniture, must be kept out of the bedrooms and must sleep on bedding provided by the holidaymaker. Any fouling of lawns etc must be cleared up without delay.
You are liable for any damage caused by pets and are asked to remove all evidence of your pets (e.g. dog hairs) before departure.
CLEANING
A condition of acceptance of any booking is that the holidaymaker will take good care of the cottage and its contents. Visitors are liable for breakages or damage caused during their let, please report any to the owner.
Please leave the cottage as you would wish to find it i.e. clean and tidy particularly the kitchen utensils, work surfaces, and appliances. Extra cleaning will be charged for.
GENERAL POINTS
The cottages are strictly NO SMOKING.
The holidaymaker shall not part with possession of the property, nor sub-let it.
Children must be kept under close supervision at all times, and we take no responsibility for any accidents inside or outside the Cottages.
If the holidaymaker is not satisfied with the accommodation provided, he or she should contact the cottage owner during the holiday.
No responsibility is accepted for your vehicles, personal possessions in them or in the Cottages.
The cottage owner or our representative must be allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during your stay.
The accommodation is let within the meaning of paragraph nine of the First Schedule to the Housing Act 1988 and there is no right of occupancy beyond the stated and agreed period.
If a visitor’s conduct is deemed to be dangerous, unruly or contravenes any laws the owner may repossess the Property without notification or compensation to the visitors.
